Winiata’s Blog

Oh I just can’t wait to till Saturday. All this work and preparing has finally paid off. At 7-15pm on Saturday a plane is departing Auckland International Airport for Rarotonga! And my brother and I are boarding. We’re spending 8 days in Rarotonga, and here are some of the activities –   

Sat 14th – arrive Rarotonga 1am, sleep. At 9am, Punanganui Markets. After lunch, full island tour with Island hopper vacation.

Sunday – Cook Is. church service – Afternoon free        

Monday – Highland Paradise tour till noon, then afternoon free.

Tuesday – going to Fruits of Rarotonga for swim/snorkel.      

Afternoon free, then Island Night dinner & show at Edgewater.

Wednesday – Capt Tama’s lagoon cruise at 11am.

Thursday – mountain trek, climb to needle and Wigmores     Waterfall

Friday – whole day free. Go to airport at midnight; fly out    to NZ at 2am.

 It’s going to be such a cool experience and I hope ill be able to do it again.

I have been thinking about what sort of house I would own when I grow older. What kind of entertainment system should I buy? What will my bedroom look like? How many rooms would I have, and who would live in them? Who could I hire to be my house staff?For my dream house I think I would build a flash new home with three storeys above ground and a basement below ground. It would have to be an enormous section on top of a hill with a view overlooking the entire city. I could have a full size basketball court and a bike track on the lawn. I would also need to have a heated outdoor pool and a spa pool.Inside it would have a plasma TV on every floor, each one loaded with every channel, a sky box, a play station, and an X-box. Surround sound speakers mounted in the ceiling of every room in the house.  I’d have an intercom system throughout the house, so I can communicate with other occupants.In the master bedroom I would have a huge silky waterbed, my plasma TV and an expensive entertainment centre. I’d need a whole room for all my designer clothes. The master bathroom would be the latest style, with a Jacuzzi and dozens of soft towels. I would have the coolest kitchen with all the latest gadgets and every possible delicious kind of food stocked in the fridge and the cupboards.  I would hire a cook to prepare anything I want, any time of the day or night. I would host a party from time to time for my friends and workmates.The house would have everything I need, including staff to run it. I could hire Ryan to be the cook, Taleta to be the housekeeper, Sam to be the butler, Francis to be the chauffeur and Sarah to be the gardener.Finally, I would buy a sports model car, a boat, a jet ski and a motorbike, and put them all in the garage.

I hate doing work …..because I’m too lazy and I can’t be bothered. Sometimes it tires me out. I hate pies …..because one day when I was feeling sick I ate a pie. We’ve been enemies ever since.I hate spiders …..because they are small and creepy. I can’t stand the feeling of a spider crawling over my skin.I hate vegetables….. like Brussels sprouts, asparagus, cabbage and turnips. They taste like mushy pig food when mixed together.I hate my brother….. well I tell him that anyway – because he bothers and annoys me in lots of ways.I hate tasting ….. drinks with not enough flavour like when mum mixes a 1 litre sachet with 3 litres of water.I hate missing out …..on things that I really enjoy, like sport and movies and outside experiences including camps.I hate losing …..in games and sport because I’m really competitive when I play. 

I went onto Kegan’s blog and there was a really funny video from You Tube called “The Mysterious Ticking Noise”. Me and my friends thought it was really funny, so I searched on you tube and i have put it on the sidebar. I hope you enjoy it.

I want to go to the USA` and tour around with a band.My favourite meal is spaghetti bolognaise or lasagne, basically anything with mince, pasta and cheese.On my tenth birthday we had a beach party at my house. The guest list snowballed and we ended up with 46 kids in our back yard.I learned to ski when I was three and I almost skied over a cliff because I didn’t know how to STOP.So I now tag- Martin and Matthew.
